During the MPACT accredited training, study-enrolled staff had the chance to learn about ways to provide patient-centered care.
The pneumonic device of “All-In” helps to remember important aspects of care:
- Assess the clinic together through the use of the TICA.
- Listen carefully to patients and one another without judgment
- Learn how people experience the clinic and methadone treatment through the use of patient journey maps (like the resource noted above) or through other safe ways for people to express their experiences.
- Intervene to address trauma symptoms through staff wellness education and self-assessment.
- Nourish opportunities to improve clinic culture and methadone treatment practice through staff engagement and making space for creative ideas.
